About Melissa Christensen. Melissa is a full-time professional yoga teacher trainer and has been teaching yin yoga since 2008 and leading yin yoga teacher trainings since 2014. She has studied with Bernie Clark, Paul Grilley and his senior assistant Joe Barnett, and Sarah Powers. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her trainings, offering a comprehensive, engaging, and fun approach to her love of yin. Melissa has led over 40 yin trainings across the United States and into Canada. Her training is Yoga Alliance approved, as a YACEP certified teacher trainer.

This special weekend is being held at The River Bottom Ranch, 17423 E Trimmer Springs Rd, Sanger, CA 93657 (theriverbottomranch.com) This weekend will combine outdoor asana practice and teaching as well as indoor lecture time. All asana will be practiced and taught outdoors, so prepare for current weather conditions. You'll need to bring: a yoga mat; 2 blocks, 2 blankets (4 big beach towels can substitute) and a strap. If you have a bolster, great! But it's not required. *if you're buying a strap, be sure to get an 8 foot one.
